Look for potential safety risks and take reasonable steps to correct them to prevent further damage.

If the loss is caused by theft, vandalism, or if a crime has been committed, notify police.

If the loss involves a credit card or bank fund transfer card, notify the credit card company or bank immediately.

Also keep an accurate record of your temporary repair expenditures for the Adjuster.

Check with your claim representative before you discard any items you plan to claim as damaged.
